Wim Bosman to expand logistics activities for Beiersdorf in Benelux
Wim Bosman, a 3PL+ logistics service provider, has signed a three year contract with Beiersdorf, the German cosmetics firm based in Hamburg, to expand the logistics activities in the Benelux.
Currently, the 3PL provider handles the distribution for Beiersdorf in the Benelux region from the distribution center in Hamburg.
The German cosmetics firm has decided to move all warehousing activities for the Benelux to Wim Bosman in the Netherlands.
As per the deal, the logistics provider will operate the warehousing activities, offering picking and packing services as well as additional VAS activities, based on customer requirements.
Wim Bosman will start operating as the Benelux warehouse for Beiersdorf as of 1 July 2012.
