St. George Logistics to provide refrigerated distribution services for PepsiCo’s brands

Published 26 October 2016

St. George Logistics has signed a five-year contract to provide refrigerated distribution services for PepsiCo’s Tropicana, Naked Juice and Dole brands.

St. George will primarily service PepsiCo’s Tropicana, Naked Juice and Dole brands throughout the entire West Coast from its state-of-the-art distribution center in Walnut, CA.

The agreement also includes customization—repacking/repackaging—services of these PepsiCo brands destined for major club stores in the region.

“This five-year contract for refrigerated distribution services with PepsiCo presents exciting opportunities. By partnering with this iconic and innovative global company with respect to its go-to-market nutritious beverage offering, the potential for mutual development and growth will be extraordinary,” stated Chuck Price, Executive Vice President, Specialty Logistics, St. George.

“Moreover, we have built a solid partnership with PepsiCo’s team over the past eight years. Our associates are proud of this relationship and will continue to demonstrate a strong commitment to service quality and honor our client’s trust, every day.”

“St. George is uniquely positioned as a partner of choice to global food and beverage companies in North America,” said Denis Reilly, President, St. George Logistics. “This contract demonstrates our capabilities in the distribution supply chain. Our strategic goal is to continue to expand the scope of services we provide to our core customer base.”

Last July 2016, St. George was acquired by Wind Point Partners in partnership with CEO Chris Jamroz, and President and Chief Operating Officer Hessel Verhage.

In October 2016, St. George acquired and merged with AZ CFS, North America’s second largest provider of CFS services with leading share in export-oriented CFS.

Wind Point is an active investor in logistics, transportation and route-based businesses with previous investments including Dicom Transportation Group, RailWorks Corporation and AIR-serv Group.

St. George offers a wide range of value-added logistics services encompassing ocean and air CFS, contract warehousing, distribution, e-commerce fulfillment and transportation services. St. George operates the largest network of independent CFS facilities in North America and has very close proximity to all major ports and metropolitan areas for ocean or air cargo.

The company is also a leading provider of additional logistics services, including distribution, warehousing and transportation within the US.
