Jamba to expand its distribution alliance with Sygma
US based beverage and food retailer Jamba has expanded its supply chain distribution alliance with Sygma owned by Sysco to the Colorado and Texas markets.
Jamba owns and franchises Jamba Juice stores through its subsidiary, Jamba Juice Company as well as retails beverage and food offerings, which include fruit smoothies, juices and teas, oatmeal, fruit and veggie smoothies.
Jamba Juice Company senior vice president of supply chain Greg Schwartz said based on the outstanding results of our initial business relationship, we have decided to expand our existing programme to include broader coverage into new territories.
"SYGMA now services a significant number of Jamba locations nationwide. They've become a great partner, who is helping us achieve our supply chain efficiency goals and positioning us well to drive additional product expansion and geographic growth, "Schwartz said.
"Ability to access Sysco's entire network of resources has proven beneficial in further extending our international capabilities, enhancing our reporting effectiveness and giving us great access to servicing non-traditional venues. This opens the door to accelerated growth as we look to the future and our anticipated expansion plans."
