Agility wins six-year logistics contract from Swedish wholesaler Amring
Agility has secured a six-year warehousing and logistics contract from Sweden-based wholesaler Amring.
Amring is engaged in the sale and distribution of tires, rims, complete wheels and related articles for passenger vehicles, trucks and commercial vehicles.
Under the deal, Agility will offer warehouse services, mounting/assembling of wheels.
Agility intends to expand its Gothenburg logistics center from 8,350m² to 23,000m² to deliver better services to Amring.
The company, which will organize inbound and outbound transport of Amring, will also offer supply chain assessment and consulting services.
Amring managing director Torbjörn Wilson said: “Agility brings sophisticated supply chain analysis and the creativity, flexibility, personal ownership, and timing we feel we need.
